Aim of the role:

As per position of Senior Accountant, you will participate in daily accounting processes and activities, having supportive role for your department colleagues in maintaining daily accounting activities, performing entry journal registration directly in GL and having active role in monthly closing process and journal reconciliation under the direct supervision of Head of Accounting Department.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in business, accounting or economics
• At least 4 years of related work experience
• Deep interest in current legislation and fiscality
• Microsoft Office Package
• English medium level
• Working knowledge of financial accounting systems, knowledge of ERP is a plus
• Willing to work in tourism industry

Job description:

• Participate in verification and reconciliation of bank statements
• Participate in verification and reconciliation of general ledger - accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, payroll movements, local contributions/ tax and VAT entry journals
• Ensuring all reconciliations are completed on time with full supporting information and documents, in compliance with statutory requirements
• Assist in monthly- closing activities, active participation in General Ledger reconciliation and Trial Balance verification on monthly, quarterly and yearly closing.
• Assist in statutory compliance activities, including local tax returns (VAT, CIT) and other statutory fillings.
• Ensure the analytical/ managerial accounting imputation related to cost accounting/ profit center are accurate, in accordance to group reporting policy
• Assist finance functions with supporting role in monthly financial reporting preparation and cost accounting control.
• Participate in Financial Statement/ Accounting Notes preparation process accounting notes preparation under the direct supervision and support of Chief Accountant.
